EXECUTION:
Led PLX to its two most profitable years in the company’s history in 2013 and 2014 (from heavy losses the prior year) by increasing revenues, record design wins, driving above 60% margins, inspiring the team to cut costs/improve efficiencies to drive profits, divesting poor performing businesses and exclusive focus on the company’s market leading fast growing product line. Introduced ExpressFabric (ECN Disruptive Product of the Year Award) for the data center & cloud replacing Ethernet and InfiniBand within the rack doubling the potential serviceable market with commits by market leaders around the world to fuel future growth.

LIQUIDITY:  Acquired by Avago/Broadcom in 2014 for PLX’s market leading position and Switch IP required in future Avago/Broadcom producing additional shareholder value.

Had my software team make significant improvements in the areas of ease of use and created two versions. Drove innovative ways (at the time) to get engineers hooked on our products with very interactive web site. Included a user friendly software product that they could download for just registering. We had a high upsell and design close from this process.

Involved with S1 IPO filing preparation and process while running in parallel a process to pursue interested strategics. Developed the story (management presentation) and was main communicator. Company ultimately acquired by ST Microelectronics (Europe based multi-billion dollar company).
