During his tenure, PLX transitioned from the weakest player in the PCI Express switching market to the leader, eliminating or overpowering all other participants in the market. Dave could project where the market would be two years in advance and had the strength of character to drive the organization to develop those products. PLX always had industry-leading products that customers needed when they needed them.
Dave was groomed for and took the CEO role as we worked to sell the company in a contentious environment including Federal Trade Commission and activist shareholder complications. He is the adult in the room.
